Finally went to see this. Loved Casino Royale and thought Quantum of Solace was ok. Really did not enjoy this though.
The script was overloaded with cheesy banter, it relied too heavily on visual set pieces (Bond's entrance to the casino) instead of measured plotting and the unbelievability factor was Roger Moore level. Albert Finney's accent and performance was astonishingly bad (his "I was ready before you were born" produced a groan from the audience) and the last fifteen minutes appear to have been ripped off from Batman Begins and Home Alone.

I hadnt watched a bond film in ages and watched this on a whim. Have to say i really enjoyed it. That said I had absolutely zero deep thoughts about it. Just went along for the ride and found it hit all the right spots.
