Latest crossover of the Batman books which herald the return of The Joker.
Theyve dropped bits into cat woman and batgirl but Batman issue 13 was the first one to really get stuck into it and was fucking amazing.
Really struggling to think of a better single issue of anything I've read before. The main story burned along, had great moments especially for Gordon and the Joker was terrifying. They played it like a horror film and it totally worked. Really nice nods to the jokers first ever appearance too.
There was also a short backup with art by Jock that was an aside to one of the plot points in the main story and managed to make it all even darker.
Just brilliant stuff. Highly recommend picking up the issue and giving it a shot. Was £2.49 on comixology
