So I started a 'What you getting thread' and I guess the companion thread to that is about what you don't get, but interests you. Hopefully folk who go know the titles will pop along and give valuable feedback.
On my radar at the moment are
Saga. Hear such good things about it and the first trade is cheap so pretty much a cert this one...
Also while I don't really enjoy much Marvel these days there's a couple of the Now titles that look intriguing. FF (is it, the Allred one) looks very intriguing and the new Waid Hulk title, cos Waid is so damned fine.
So yeah what's peeking out at you and showing an interest?

Allred is always good. Have the full set of his Madman trades. Class.
Was into FF for a while but I really dont like Hickman's stuff. He's a good writer but I think they put him on projects that dont suit. Fantastic Four and Ultimates need a bit more Michael Bay and a bit less Ang Lee. Not to say they have to be dumbed down, just that I've always felt they should have a bit of the summer blockbuster to them.

Oh and should add I'm intrigued by a couple of the Before Watchmen trades when they are released, specifically the Darwyn Cooke stuff, Minute Men and Silk Spectre. Controversy aside are they good comics?
Yeah big fan of Allred, don't really know Hickman's work?

I'm reading the lot of them and not a dud in the bunch for me. You could argue some are better than others and Ozymandias may be cruising slightly on the gorgeous artwork, but so far it's all been really good comics. Dont know if that'll last should they continue this project on for a long time, but we're still in the area where it's everyone doing the first set of mini series and being very conscious of the microscope on them.
And anyway, Darwyn Cook was good enough to take on The Spirit, he's good enough for this. Its a shame people will miss out due to just refusing to give them a try.
But then I've always been in the "Toys should be taken out of the box and played with, not put on a shelf and looked at reverentially" camp. I dont think I've liked any of The Crow follow up comics but I'd never say they shouldn't try.

I wasn't that fussed about the Before Watchmen stuff, but I've been hearing great things about it, so will definitely check out the trades.
Saga is really breaking all expectations, what a wonderful piece of work. Can't wait for the next arc. Really enjoying Prophet as well for all it's SciFi weirdness. Although I still get a my superhero fix from the big two, I've got to say Image is really firing on all cylinders with some great series.
