Comic Geek Speak is one of the big names in american comic podcasts.
I have been a fan and supporter of the show since my first iPod and discovering podcasts.
They normally devote a whole episode to reviewing a new comic book movie.
Recently I have been a bit bemused by the attitude of the hosts, the people on the boards, and the moderator to suggestions that they should do an episode review of Dredd.
Some forum members suggested that we were always trying to shove 2000AD "down their throats" (their phrase not mine).
I started a thread asking our American friends to get some word of mouth going for Dredd 3D. The commonest response was that they would wait for the DVD. Fair enough, America doesn't really get 2000AD and Dredd as the box office figures show.
One of the show hosts was Mike Gallagher, a guy who was interested in films, indy comics and a 2000AD fan. He guested on the most recent ECBT2000AD podcast.
Now I hear that he has been kicked off the show for undisclosed reasons. Does anyone know what went on there? Message me if it's best not aired in public.
