This off the back of the post I just put up which has put KiNG's "Love and Pride" in my head. Not that I bought that!
First load of singles I bought as a kid actually stand up, for me anyway, as I was ALL about Adam and the Ants who I still enjoy. Later on it was all poodle rock and there was some dodgy shit in there, but I think the award for worst single I ever actually paid money to buy was for this one. From memory there were two reasons
1) I kinda liked the drumming in it
2) I had a bit of a crush on the new girl who replaced... um... whotserface. The one who wasnt Cheryl Baker
