Might have got bored of Naruto. I'm just after the age jump and it just seems to be treading water..... not that it EVER got anywhere fast before.
Wanted to try another one and got recommended Hellsing so giving that a shot. Only read the first two chapters but pretty fun so far

Yeah a lot of people have recommended reading Hellsing to me as well. Not sure why I didn't pick it up in the end. The anime was pretty good as well.

Yeah i enjoyed the anime but never read it. Let me know how it is.
Just had another random suggestion. If you want fun reading try Trigun.
Vash, what a legend.
And with Naruto it does tread water after the time skip but i'd stick with it till naruto fights pain as it comes to a nice natural end. Everything else has since then been a lesson in how to make things more ridiculous by every chapter.

Ok was trying to decide whether to put this in the rant thread or the manga one. Decided here cos at least those reading this might have a clue what im on about.
Naruto.
I mean seriously I have invested YEARS of my life reading this and yes for large parts of shippudden i realised it wasnt the best, certainly not as good as the first half of it. But I'm sorry what is written right now is a total embarrasment. 600 odd chapters in and honestly i dont know if i can read another one.
Yes where he has taken it is THAT bad.

I've recently discovered another great manga, called Berserk by Kentaro Miura and published by Dark Horse. Wow what an epic journey, with plenty of violence to boot, but very immersive can't stop reading it.
Like I said it's quite violent and dark, sort of in a Dark Ages/ Game of Thrones way, but really good. Again doesn't pick up till the third volume though, so you have to stick with it initially. But would definitely recommend it.

Just stumbled onto a manga called Green Blood set in 19th century new york. Based on gang land culture. Pretty good and makes a nice change from the usual sorts of manga there is out there. www.mangareader.net/green-blood
