It's stuff like this that happens when I don't expect anyone to actually post other than me
Good point tho. I'll rename this as an introduce yourself thread.
So I'm Richard. I do the ecbt website and used to be on the podcast a lot but not so much now. All just nerdy hobby stuff really.

I spend long hours discussing 2000ad and other comics type stuff over at the official forums.
We'll all come running over here next time that's down so thought I might as well get a head of the game and sort that out now. After all you can never have too many places to talk about 2000ad now can you.
As for me I have a beard, recently took to wearing flat caps and look slightly too tired to be healthy... I'm not selling myself am I...

Sharky here. In some quarters I am legendary, but only in some quarters. I've been reading since Prog One and sometimes contribute to Zarjaz and Dogbreath under the name Mark Howard. I too have a beard.

Hello, I do *not* have a beard, and have only been reading 2000AD & The Meg for a few years...busily catching up with the old classics now - currently halfway through Dante:The Romanov Dynasty, which is brilliant. Stickleback is next in my pile....
I like walks in the park, booze and comics.

Been a longtime comic/2000ad lover. I enjoy manga/anime/jpop way more than any sensible human should.

Let's see, here are five fascinating facts... 1. I (properly) got into Toothy back in 87 and apart from a time in the wilderness thanks to Mark Fucking Millar I have perservered through thick and thin. 2. I now live in Auckland having fled here from Britain when the police found the bodies. 3. I still get Toothy and the Meg sent to me here in Mordor at enormous cost. 4. I have four cats and a wife who only associates Dredd with Stallone movie. I feel certain she does this on purpose. 5. I met a bloke two weeks ago who has a scale model of Noah's Ark complete with dinosaurs.

Hi! I'm nuffsaid. When younger I read 2000 AD comics in Swedish magazines, now I read the real thing. I really like the ecbt podcast. And oops I haven't seen the Dredd 3D yet...

Are we supposed to say "Welcome" and all that? ok then.... welcome?
Nah, I know what needs to be said here. WELL DONE! You are the first of the forum members. Should this last more than a month, in days to come you can slag off newbies safe in the knowledge your forum tenure gives you moral superiority.
See them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their women... and stuff.

Hi, I'm a thirty something life long comic-book geek. Grew up in the Netherlands, so didn't have access to 2000AD or the Meg and only ever read the few stories that were translated into Dutch (A few Mills' Dredd stories, some Slaine and some ABC Warriors). But had my childhood kidnapped by Moore and Morrison, so knew about 2000AD and the Meg and so started buying them on a regular basis soon after moving to the UK (a few years ago). I've been on the official forum as a lurker for a while, but found it quite hard to navigate as a newbie. So this forum is perfect for me as it's still new, although I see many of you are die-hard veterans, so expect the occasional naive question from me
