Just looking on their website now... looks like a weekend ticket is only £8 which is ridiculously cheap. Think we're going. It was my first con so I kinda feel supportive of it, especially after the unfair mauling it got online last year. I'm a pretty bad con-goer though. Unless there's a panel I really want to see I usually only spend about an hour each day in the cons themselves and the rest of the time in whichever pub is deemed the official "Get beers cheaper before getting fleeced in the Ramada" spot. 2000AD guests so far look like Henry Flint, Rob Williams, David Roach, Mike Collins, Neil Edwards and John Higgins. And where there's a John Higgins hopefully theres a Sally Hurst -sigh- www.bristolexpo.co.uk/

You need to learn to meander around the tables and squeeze info out of the guests to fill the day out. The pub can wait until the evening/night/morning

I hope we'll be there this year. If I can convince the parentals do to the babysitting thang. Fingers crossed.

Am I right in thinking its expanded back to the two sites? That'd be good if it has. Always enjoyed Bristol on the occasions I've been able to make it. The thing is these days there are so many alternatives (most of which I'm not able to get to anyway) I'm not sure I'd make it.
The UK con scene really has gone through the roof the last few years and its great that there's so much more out there for fans, a shame for the few that kept it going during the quiet times.
Still always one to aim for.

Think it'll be like last year and have the main thing in the train shed it was originally in and the panels over in the hotel. Much prefer it like this. Felt a bit pokey having it broken up around the hotel
